Wedded bliss
by Kean Riber
Two streams
flow silently through the white winter landscape
The surroundings
covered by a crisp icy cape
No life is
found in their cold freezing water
Hibernation
subdues both him and her.
The ice starts
to melt as the streams close on each other
Small
greens appear as the sun whispers come-hither
The sound
of the sparrow signals new life
Winter and
spring enters an uneven strife
The two
streams gently meet as the sun shines brightly
The Empress
in bloom stands as ever almighty
Small
ripples arise where the two join together
Their essence becomes one by an
unbreakable tether
He holds
her tightly as they flow between rock and hill
The ripples
turn to waves as they parched landscapes fill
The Plover
kips joyfully upon seeing their might
Their
coming together Springs most beautiful rite
Gaia comes
to life in light of their wedded bliss
They give
free their offspring as they tenderly kiss
In eternity
they fondly together will flow
Winter will
freeze them but together they´ll glow.
