Just to be free
By Kean
Riber
I once had
a conversation with this old rugged man
He talked
about life and all the things he once had
A pretty
normal person he used to be
With car,
penthouse and job you see
But then he
turned it all down just to be free
How mad do
you think i thought this man to be!
Now he just
lives in an old cottage in the woods
Feeds of nature’s
plants, liquids and fruits
Stunningly
happy he seems to be
With no
money, job or car you see
All this he
does just to be free
Maybe not
as mad as I thought him to be!
Living this
way seems to have made him quite fit
Often in
scrubs, fields and on rocks he´ll just sit
Mindful and
wise he seems to be
Without drama,
stress or worries you see
His mind
indeed seems to be free
Therefore
mad he can´t actually be!
Our
conversations now seem to last forever
Filled with
laughs, love and thoughts quite clever
Together
happy we seem to be
With joy,
caring and understanding you see
He reminded
me how to live and be free
The sane
part of my mind he turned out to be.
